Your Quest route will take you through the foothills and past great harbor lookouts as you locate and complete your challenges. Then, after one hour, drop off your cart and continue your Quest among the island's famous landmarks and lesser known treasures on foot.

Golf cart rental is not included in the Quest price. A four person golf cart costs approximately $65 per hour. You will only need the cart for one hour. The golf cart driver must be at least 25 years of age and have proof of insurance.
Note: For those who have enjoyed the Catalina Walking or Catalina Bike Quests, please note that portions of this Quest include questions from those two Quests. You spend approximately one hour on the golf cart and one hour walking.

Most teams complete the Catalina Island cart and walk scavenger hunt in approximately two and a half to three hours. The adventure is split between one hour exploring by golf cart through the hills and harbor and one hour on foot through the charming streets and landmarks of Avalon. Because the Quest is self-paced, you can adjust your pace as needed throughout.
Where Does It Start and End?
Your adventure begins at Beacon and Sumner in Avalon and concludes at Green Pleasure Pier. The route covers approximately 5.8 miles by golf cart and 1.2 miles on foot. Golf cart rental is required and not included in the Quest price. A four person cart costs approximately $65 for the one hour you will need it.
Is It Good for Families and Groups?
This Quest is designed for teams of two to five players and works beautifully for families, friends, couples, and day trippers from the mainland. Please note that this Quest is not available for corporate groups or team building activities, and the golf cart driver must be at least 25 years of age with proof of insurance.
